The only downside is that they're very heavy and therefore it can be difficult to lift them up when you're carrying a child in a car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combos can be tricky to assemble. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together. It comes with a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together a breeze. Other models we tested like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to put together. Contrary to that, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps - attaching the lower anchors and using straps that are placed over the bottom portion of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to click the carrier into the base, and then to remove it.
In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together. This is relatively quick when you consider the amount of time it can save by not having to take out the pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and detached easily on most of these models.
